Diamond's Protege

hey so I've thought of this thing for a while
although I did edit a few things

So Orchid Diamond probably created Rainbow Moonstone to bring gems to them
ok here me out

somewhere when the war came out, Orchid decided to create Rainbow to make her retrieve gems for them
probably because Orchid wouldn't be able to go out on the battlefield and just take all the gems without some punishment. With a lesser gem, however...

I also happened to notice that making Rainbow created from a diamond provides explanation for somethings (along with some things to note

- Rainbow is most likely defective, probably because Rainbow is an artificial feldspar (she was probably created from a shard of Orchid's gem...)
- ... Which also explains why Rainbow's room is full of gemstones along the walls. She got her trait of hoarding gems from her diamond
- although Orchid keeps her gems active, while Rainbow keeps her gems as their gemstones. Maybe she wouldn't see herself being able to handle a large amount of active gems?
- I was thinking of giving Rainbow the ability to find a multitude of information about a gem from using Rainbow's gem
- It could be explained that Rainbow would need that ability because she would have to know what type of gem is which. After all, it would most likely be more noticeable for a Diamond to recognize whether a formidable quartz warrior was gone than a ruby
- Also the Diamonds were most likely never told about Rainbow because bad things would probably happen if a Diamond found out their colleague was using a weaponized gem to steal gemstones, which could mean their gems could get stolen without them knowing
- I was originally going to make Rainbow a well known killer or whatever but then i changed it
- When the corruption sound happened, Rainbow decided to use her weapon (the syringe) to poof herself and Oligoclase so that way they wouldn't be affected by the sound
I'm not sure if that would work but anyway

Maybe I'll update it when I have more information
